CBD / CBG / THCV

High-CBD Cannabis hybrids and landraces. In drug-type landraces, high CBD is typical of domesticates cultivated for production of traditional Cannabis resin, which is usually termed hashish or charas. The best landraces to explore for high-CBD chemotypes are those from regions such as the Hindu Kush, Himalaya, and Middle East. Studies have found that in some authentic ‘hashish landrace’ populations approximately 25% of plants can exhibit a high ratio of CBD to THC. For further details check out The Real Seed Company blog, but note that the prevalance of high-CBD individuals varies greatly depending on the particular landrace. Other cannabinoids such as CBDV, THCV, CBC, and CBG have been identified in significant quantities.
